Doctors Council members have received over $5 million dollars in retroactive pay due to Doctors Council’s contract with CCHHS and our advocacy. The County did not pay and process step increases and other compensation due to our members as per our contract.
Over the course of the last year, many of our members told us that they believed they were not being paid correctly by the County. We advocated to the County to remedy this and enforced our members’ contract rights. Close to 100 doctors – members of Doctors Council – received a total payout of over $5 million dollars from CCHHS.
Protecting and enforcing our contract is important work and continued membership in Doctors Council is essential to achieving that.
