Dear Doctor,

Wednesday September 4^th and ending Friday, September 6^th, we are engaging in a system-wide call-in action where we ask you to make as many calls as possible to Mayor Adams’s office, demanding that he voice his opposition and reverse the decision to slash new patient appointment times in half at H+H facilities.

We know that the issue of patient accessibility cannot be resolved through a scheme that jeopardizes the quality of care that our patients deserve. Instead, the only way we can ensure accessible and comprehensive care is through successfully recruiting and retaining doctors with a fair contract for our union!

Below is the contact information, a script, and a link to a Google form that will allow us to track and record our calls and conversations. Your participation will determine the success of our actions.

I am calling to request that the Mayor take immediate action to oppose and reverse the recently announced decision to slash new patient appointment times in half at H+H facilities and to voice his support for a fair contract for our union, Doctors Council SEIU, so that we can recruit and retain the necessary doctors to ensure all patients have access to comprehensive and high quality healthcare.
