From The Chief: Doctors union slams public hospitals' plan to shrink appointment times

From The Chief, "The union representing physicians in the city’s public hospital system has slammed a decision by NYC Health + Hospitals to cut visit times for new patients starting this fall.

Last week, NYC Health + Hospitals announced plans to reduce the amount of time doctors spend with new patients in adult primary care and pediatrics from 40 minutes to 20 minutes, according to a press release from the Service Employees International Union's Doctors Council. The changes, which are expected to take effect in late September, will impact the city’s 11 public hospitals, as well as H+H’s Gotham Health Centers." Read more by clicking the link below.
